Privacy Policy

We process the outfit photo you choose, the preset or custom context you provide, your app language, and the instructions required to produce a score, feedback, premium analysis, safety decision, or optional visual preview.

We also process a Supabase user ID, optional account email and profile details, subscription access state, consent records, feature events, AI usage totals, rate-limit counters, device platform, app source, and basic service diagnostics.

For subscriptions, RevenueCat receives the Poise user ID and purchase, entitlement, trial, renewal, cancellation, and expiry information supplied by Apple App Store or Google Play. Poise does not receive or store full payment-card details.

OpenAI processes the selected photo, context, language, and related instructions to run safety checks, interpret the requested setting, assess the visible outfit, generate feedback, and, when requested, create an edited preview.

Poise does not use facial recognition, create a biometric identity, or try to identify the person in a photo. Poise does not intentionally infer race, ethnicity, religion, health, sexual orientation, or other sensitive traits.

AI context fields such as formality, social setting, practical needs, color direction, or dress expectations are temporary style estimates, not verified facts about you.

OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default. Poise disables Responses API application-state storage; provider abuse-monitoring data may still be kept for up to 30 days under the provider's controls.

A photo is submitted to Top Looks only after you actively agree. It is shown only to signed-in Poise users through short-lived image links. Your account name and email are hidden, but the photo itself may make you recognizable. The score, context, tags, approximate country, and ranking may appear with it.

Poise does not request precise GPS location for rankings. Approximate country is inferred from network request information such as hosting or CDN country headers and may be inaccurate.

You can remove a submitted look at any time. Removal hides it from rankings and starts deletion of the stored image.

We use data to provide analyses and previews, authenticate users, manage access, restore purchases, show consented Top Looks, enforce safety and fair-use limits, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and understand aggregate product performance.

Relevant data may be processed by Supabase for authentication, database and storage; Vercel for hosting and operational logs; OpenAI for AI processing; RevenueCat for subscription status; and Apple or Google for billing. These providers process data under their own terms and safeguards.

Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, transfers are handled using applicable contractual, adequacy, consent, or other lawful safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

Ordinary analysis photos are processed transiently and are not kept by Poise as a server gallery. In-memory analysis results may be cached for up to 1 hour. OpenAI abuse-monitoring data may be retained for up to 30 days.

Server analysis records are kept for up to 30 days; rate-limit counters for up to 35 days; product analytics for up to 90 days; and AI token and cost records for up to 180 days. Operational and security logs are normally kept for no more than 30 days, unless an incident or legal duty requires longer.

A user Top Looks item normally remains eligible for the daily ranking for 24 hours and, if selected for the weekly list, no longer than 7 days. Removal or account deletion starts image deletion immediately; deleted moderation metadata may remain for up to 30 days.

Account, profile, consent, and normalized subscription records are kept while the account is active and deleted when the account is deleted, subject to legal obligations. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other providers may keep independent transaction records under their policies.

My Looks, saved results, previews, language, and consent data stored on your device remain until you remove them, sign out where applicable, clear app data, or uninstall the app.

You may decline AI processing, avoid Top Looks, remove a Top Looks item, correct account data, and request access, correction, restriction, objection, portability, or deletion where applicable.

You can delete a registered or technical anonymous account inside the app. Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation: cancel an active subscription in Apple App Store or Google Play as well.

Deletion removes Poise-held account data and requests deletion of the linked RevenueCat customer record. Store billing records remain controlled by Apple or Google.

Poise is only for people aged 18 or older. Do not upload a photo containing a minor. If we learn that an ineligible person's data was collected, we will take appropriate deletion steps.

We use access controls, authenticated requests, limited data collection, storage rules, and monitoring intended to protect data. No system is completely secure.

We may update this policy as the product or law changes. Material changes may require a new in-app acknowledgment or AI consent.
